If Alvarez and Fornals are out on Sunday with all the others Sheffield Utd will fancy their chances of a win and Bereton Diaz is bound to score for them.

Guaranteed loss. Dont even care now, it was completely predictable how our season is going to go from the moment they talked about offering the complete fucking twat another contract. Players aint interested, fans aint interested. Three more years, fuuuck.

West Ham win. Nothing else acceptable even with the players missing. Sheffield have shipped nearly 2.5 goals a game in the Prem.

What could possibly go wrong for Moyes, we just need to switch to Plan .. ..

Oh shit.

Reckon there will be several thousand empty seats... perhaps Sullivan will get the message.

We always sell our away allocation and I doubt Sullivan would give a shit if Bramall Lane is half empty

The Bristol City thugs showed how our lads haven't got the appetite for a fight. You can bet that Sheffield United were watching that rubbing their hands.

Depends who is available but without Alvarez and Bowen, the odds are not in our favour.

Gut says we will nick it but can't say I'm confident. If we run out and you see Ings your heart immediately drops, like when we use to start with Dowie.

Going out of both domestic cups in recent weeks means we need to maintain our position in the PL or it's going to start looking bleak. Europe is miles off yet and let's be honest we ain't winning that anyway.

It’s got narrow loss written all over it.

Bowen if fit might give us a chance but suspect Zouma won’t be fit as he don’t play twice in a week.

Moyes just got to work out the 10 to play alongside King Tommy

Re: ⚽ Sheff Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Yeah, this one is going to be really tough if we don't have anyone more available than those on Tuesday. Assume Benny now suspended for three games too thus making us even more bereft of anyone of note at all in the attacking department. Incredible to think we could have a situation where

Bowen
Kudus
Paqueta
Antonio
Fornals
Alvarez
Benrahma

are ALL unavailable at once. Quite astonishing and unlucky If we were a big six club there would be never ending media drivel about an extraordinary injury crisis. Imagine City missing Haaland, Alvarez, Foden,Grealish, KDB, Silva and Rodri all at once. As it is you probably get a tiny bit of 'West Ham go into this missing one or two players...'

Anyway this will be a big struggle to get anything attacking going at all but you'd hope unless someone makes a fucking boneheaded mistake we could keep a clean sheet. There's no way they'll be allowed to get away with half of what Bristol did. VAR would have had a straight red for their player on Ings after 2 mins or whatever it was.

The rumour is that Bowen is fit but, should we risk him? Especially against a physical side like Sheffied United!

Moyes teamsheet so far:

———- Areola —————
Coufal ( TOMMYS mate) ???? ???? Emerson
——- ??? ——- TOMMY BOY
???? ———— ???? ———- ???

Re: ⚽ Sheff Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Obviously Moyes won't but I'd love to see...

Areola
Coufal Mavro Ogbonna Scarles
Orford Soucek JWP Emerson
Mubama Marshall

I'd keep the weapons that are Ings and Cornet on the bench and play Orford, Mubama & Marshall on the basis that they are used to playing together.

Couldn't be any worse than the shit show on Tuesday.

there's nothing wrong with him or fornals

Re: ⚽ Sheff Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Moyes will play his usual tactical game, keep it tight lads, pump it long for Bowen to challenge their 6’6” centre half, he’s already got his excuses ready with the lack of forwards available. A drab 0-0 is the best we can hope for.
